Documented local history

Kadukutty hosts historical remnants such as the first printing press in India established by European priests, and remains of St Pauls church shot down by Tippu Sulthans Army; there are also remnants of a Jesuit seminary and an old Latin church where St John Britto and St Francis Xavier celebrated Mass.
